We total the fees each address paid using the exchanges' referral data, then apply each exchange's cashback rate and your BackFi tier multiplier. Every week we publish an on-chain Merkle root of everyone's cumulative cashback.
BackFi charges no fees. You only pay Arbitrum One gas, usually a few cents.
No. Rewards are tracked cumulatively, so you can claim several weeks at once, whenever you like.
Most exchanges allow one referral code per account. Sign up with a new wallet through the BackFi link to become eligible.
BackFi never has access to your exchange funds. The claim contract only sends amounts verified by a Merkle proof, and only to your own address.
